Antonia Lofaso

Antonia Lofaso's cooking is an invitation to explore the possibilities within her. Her food is a result of her interest in the culture of Los Angeles, which was sparked by a trip to Los Angeles from Long Island's suburbs. Her belief that cavatelli and carnitas are able to coexist effortlessly on a menu conveys a sensibility which continues to evolve. Every dish she serves is inspired by a distinct outlook for the future but also with a nostalgic look at the past. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in the year 2013 and quickly became well-received. Lofaso has received praise for her interpretation of traditional Italian food. Lofaso is described by many as a local restaurant that consistently serves food that's authentic, delicious and warm. Lofaso studied under some of some of the best chefs in the world and learned the latest methods but she never scared to challenge her gut intuitions. As she rose to the top of the ladder, she transformed various Los Angeles high-profile restaurants while being in contact with celebrities. Lofaso launched Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. The Lofaso had found a home in the Black Market. This collaboration would foster the creative freedom Lofaso longed for. Black Market does not have a single direction, and this is its intention. This course would begin with dill-flavored potato chips Shishito peppers, then follow up with Korean wings. The underlying ingredient in this dazzling array of flavors is Antonia. Lofaso has, over the course of her professional career, has evaluated her performance by the degree to which she knows her target audiences. Also, she stays in the same place she was. Her unforgettable performance on Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars showcased her uniqueness outside of the kitchen. Her talents are still shining in front of the camera, as a panelist on CNBC's Restaurant Startup and recurring role on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child and ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso released The Busy Mother's Cookbook: 100 Quick and Delicious Recipes, in 2012, with Penguin. It also told the tale of her struggles while she studied at the French Culinary Institute. She also raised her daughter Xea, as well. Lofaso maintains that the inspiration behind all of Lofaso's successes is the kitchen she uses. It's through this vein that she stays on the pulse. Chefletics is her brand new has revolutionized the way chefs dress. It combines style with functionality. Lofaso is determined to stay true to her vision and customers. She's created Antonia Lofaso Catering to help to achieve this.
