(Host Despierta American on Univision! Andrew Martinez is vice president of Safety Security and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison (SCE) which is one of the biggest electric utilities across the nation. SCE is committed to making safety for workers as well as security of the corporate environment a primary concern. Martinez is in charge of the initiatives and programs which are focused on these areas. Martinez provides to safety leaders across the company the support guidance and high-quality programs to successfully achieve their work to achieve their safety targets for the entire group. Prior to his new position, Martinez was the director for Safety Training and Compliance for Transmission & Distribution at SCE. Before that, he worked as the director of Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services at SCE. During Martinez's 30 years with SCE he held several leadership roles in the corrective action program and the performance improvement process, as well as positions at The San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station.
